Two annoying detours are finally coming to an end, and we're celebrating a birthday!

This special "Little Brother's Birthday" edition of DING DANG DONG brings mostly good news for Toronto transit riders. No major new disruptions are starting this week, and some long-running headaches are finally wrapping up.

Detours Ending February 1st

• 97 Yonge Bus - The sewer work detour near St. Clair Station is done! No more rerouting through Rosehill, Avoca, and Pleasant Boulevard.
• 20 Cliffside Bus - After months of road work detours since November, this route is finally back to normal.

Late-Night Alerts

• 501 Queen Streetcar - Taking a detour through Parliament and Dundas East between 9 PM and 3 AM (January 26-31)
• Line 1 Subway - Early closure at 11 PM from Finch to Eglinton, Monday through Thursday. Shuttle buses will be running.
